Minecraft
So I started playing Minecraft a couple of weeks ago and here is what I think so far. The game is still in beta.
The graphics for this game reminds me of a time when I was much younger. I remember when I had to use my imagination to picture an arrangement of blocks as a tank, house, or person. But I also remember wishing that graphics were much better. Nowadays graphic for video games are so realistic you don’t even have you use your brain. So it’s surprising that I even gave this game a try.
The gameplay is very open. You basically start off with no objective but to survive attacks from creatures at night. Getting attacked by zombies and spiders is not what I like most about the game. I like the fact that you can build and create things such as weapons and armor. I’ve always like games that allow the player to create and forge items. When games are so linear I feel as if I’m just walking through a story. That is what movies are for.
